Kitten Info

We put a lot of time, love and effort into rearing our kittens and it is therefore of utmost importance to us that we find them the very best homes where they will be loved and cherished as part of the family.

Kittens are raised in our family home and are therefore generally used to normal household noises. We spend a lot of time with the kittens to ensure they are properly socialised and have extensive handling. Our kittens are fed on the very best wet and dry foods to give them the best possible start in life.

Breed Standards

We are breeding exotics and persians as close as possible to the breed standards. The breed standard for exotic and persian cats is very similar and comprehensive with the main difference being that a persian's coat should be long and thick, standing off from the body with a glossy and full of life texture, whereas the exotic coat should be a thick, dense, plush, short coat. In summary both breeds should have the following characteristics as a minimum:

About Exotics and Persians

Exotics and persians are different from other cat breeds, they are not only different to look at but their temperament as one of the friendliest cats is what they are famous for. As kittens they are loving, mischievous, inquisitive and full of life, but as they mature they become even more loving and follow their owners everywhere. They are very gentle, laid back cats and make an ideal family pet.

Exotics and Persians are both very beautiful to look at and have a unique look. That along with their sweet, endearing nature makes them very special breeds of cat and you may well end up owning more than just one!

Exotics have a short, dense, plush coat that is very soft and requires much less grooming than that of the persian's coat which is long and thick. This is why the exotic is sometimes affectionately referred to as "the lazy man's persian".

Our Breeding Programme

As responsible breeders we breed for health, vigour and temperament and cats that are true to the breed standard. As we move forward with our breeding program, we aim to produce cats of superior breeding/show quality by improving our line with each generation. Not all kittens in a single litter will meet our criteria which is suitable for breeding or showing, and so we welcome enquiries from prospective pet owners who would like to offer a wonderful home to one of our kittens. Very rarely we may also have an adult cat available for re-homing to the right forever home.
